The Biohacker Score rates products from 0 (most toxic) to 100 (cleanest) based on their ingredient lists. Our algorithm cross-references each ingredient against five toxin categories: carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, respiratory irritants, skin sensitizers, and aquatic toxins. The score is weighted by concentration levels and regulatory data from the EPA, EWG, and EU REACH databases.
Yes! HomeSweep is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Both platforms have full feature parity, including barcode scanning, label OCR, room audits, and all Premium features.
We aggregate data from peer-reviewed toxicology studies, the EPA’s Safer Choice database, the EWG’s Skin Deep and Guide to Healthy Cleaning databases, EU REACH registrations, and California’s Proposition 65 list. Our science team reviews and updates ingredient risk profiles weekly.
HomeSweep covers over 250,000 household products across cleaning supplies, personal care, laundry, kitchen, and baby products. If a barcode isn’t in our database, you can use the label scanner to photograph the ingredients list and we’ll analyze it on the spot. You can also submit products for review and they’re typically added within 48 hours.
You can cancel anytime from Settings > Subscription in the app. Your Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. We don’t charge cancellation fees, and you can always re-subscribe later. Your scan history and room data are preserved even on the Free plan.
